A Geological Story Millions of Years in the Making
Ghana sits on one of the world's richest gold belts. For millions of years, three major rivers have eroded 400–600 vertical meters of gold-bearing bedrock, carrying an estimated 200 million ounces of gold downstream and depositing it on the shallow continental shelf.
GoldCoast holds 10 contiguous offshore reconnaissance licenses covering approximately 10,000 km² — roughly 53% of Ghana's total offshore coastline. The mineralization is expected within the first 2–3 meters below the ocean floor.
This is the only place on Earth where three major rivers carrying gold-rich bedload from world-class gold belts converge on a shallow continental shelf. GoldCoast is the first and only company pursuing this opportunity.
