GoldCoast Resource Corp. (“GoldCoast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), and other applicable privacy laws.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you subscribe to investor updates or use our sign-up form, we collect your email address, your investor type, and (on the full sign-up form) your name. If you contact us, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, and message.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, our analytics tools collect technical and usage information, including pages viewed, scroll depth, clicks, the type of device, browser and operating system you use, your approximate location (country and region, derived from your IP address — we do not store your full IP for display), the site that referred you, and campaign parameters. We also record anonymised session replays — a reconstruction of page interactions used to understand and improve usability. Text you type into form fields is masked in these recordings.

Interactive map. Our homepage displays an interactive map served by Mapbox. When the map loads, Mapbox receives technical information about your visit — including your IP address (from which an approximate location is derived) and a rotating session identifier — which it uses to provide and improve its mapping service. You can opt out of Mapbox’s usage reporting using the information button shown in the corner of the map.

How we use your information

• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the site.
• To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Cookies, analytics & your consent

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others are analytics cookies (including the session-replay tool described above), which are not essential and are used only with consent.

• If you visit from Quebec, the EEA, or the United Kingdom, analytics do not run until you choose “Accept” on our consent banner.
• Elsewhere, analytics run on an implied-consent basis, and you can opt out at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer.
• We honour browser Global Privacy Control and Do-Not-Track signals automatically — when set, analytics never start, regardless of region.

Our analytics provider sets a first-party identifier (_sw_vid) to distinguish visits; it is created only after analytics consent is in effect. You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, at any time, via Cookie Preferences.

Service providers

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the site and our communications, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Stehrway Media — our website and analytics provider, which processes the usage and session-replay data described above on our behalf.
• Mailchimp (Intuit) — delivers our investor email updates and manages subscriptions.
• Vercel — hosts and serves the website.
• Mapbox — provides the interactive map on our homepage and receives the technical map-usage data described above. See Mapbox’s privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process or store data outside your province or country, including in the United States. Where this happens, the information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, and we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.

How long we keep it

• Raw analytics events: 90 days.
• Session-replay recordings: 30 days.
• Subscription and contact details: for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed to respond to you, and as required by law.

How we protect your information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. Information sent to and from this site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to personal information is limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

You may, at any time:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Withdraw consent to analytics (via Cookie Preferences) or unsubscribe from emails (via the link in every email).
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to our legal obligations.

Quebec — responsibility for personal information

GoldCoast’s senior management is responsible for the protection of personal information. To access or correct your information, withdraw consent, or ask a privacy question, contact info@goldcoastresource.com.

Children

This site is intended for investors and the general public and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
